Military Service

Jeffrey served in the U.S. Army. He entered as a Private, assigned to the infantry. He later became a paratrooper and served with 325 combat group under the 82nd Airborne Division. After attaining the rank of staff sergeant, he accepted a commission to become an officer working military intelligence. He left the service as a Captain to work at the Johnson Space Center as a design engineer.
