Jennie Marie Warrick was my great grandmother. She was an incredibly strong woman, who loved to make others smile and happy any way she could. She had us laughing up until the very end. I always remember thinking to myself when I was younger, as I would just watch her tell stories and laugh, I had never seen someone so full of life. Even at 99 she could sit on the floor with us grandkids and half the time could pop back up to her feet quicker than all us kids. She was definitely one of a kind and I'll never forget her. Every time I see a duck I think of her, she loved ducks.. she had a collection of them. Wooden ones, metal, pillows, plates, anything she could find really. Unfortunately, she passed when I was 10, a month before my baby sister was born. And even though she was only a part of my life for a short time, I feel blessed that I got the opportunity to know her.
