At its peak, it had 150,000 members.

In 1943, at the age of 38 years old, Jennie was alive when on March 31st, the Broadway musical Oklahoma! opened. Written by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II (the first of their string of successful collaborations), audiences loved it.
