Jeremy Allen Erwin was born to Verner "Al" and Debra (Lange) Erwin. He had brother Jon Erwin. Jeremy Erwin married Julie Michelle Hoch in 1998 and they had two daughters, Mercedes and Alexis Erwin. They divorced in 2004. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was a carpenter for Quality Masonry Corp. in civilian life. The following obituary appeared in The Marion Star (Marion, Ohio) on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 on page 2: JEREMY ALLEN ERWIN NEVADA - Jeremy Allen Erwin, age 29, of Nevada, left God's green earth unexpectedly on Monday morning, Aug. 16, 2004. Born in Lima on Nov 17, 1974, to Verner "Al" and Debra (Lange) Erwin, Jeremy was a 1993 graduate of River Valley and Tri-Rivers schools. He loved cross-country running and had competed in the Junior Olympics as well as being inducted into the River Valley Hall of Fame. he was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and had been a carpenter for Quality Masonry Corp. Jeremy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Juanita Lange and his paternal grandparents, Verner and Allie Erwin Sr. Surviving in addition to his parents are his two daughers, Mercedes of Bucyrus and Alexis of Nevada; his brother Jon (Carrie Erwin of Delaware; his two nephews, Logan Erwin and Michael Seely; many aunts, uncles and cousins and his extended family, Bobbie, Josh and Garry Bailey and Tammy and Jessie Kirtley. Funeral services will be helf Friday at 1 p.m. at the Hughes-Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Williams officiating. Entombment will follow in the Marion Cemetery Mausoleum wher military honors will be observed by the Marion County Joint Veteran's Council. Friends may call Thursday evening from 5 -8 p.m. at the funeral home.
