He had siblings Josephine Elizabeth Clare Agnes Dejarlais, David Magloire Dejarlais, Lillian Dejarlais Pendergast, Olivia Sophia (Dejarlais) Harland, Louis Charles Dejarlais, Edwin Samuel Dejarlais, Charles Eugene Dejarlais, Emanuel Joseph Dejarlais, and Eugenie Victoria DeJarlais Longworth. Jerome DeJarlais died at age 77 years old on June 7, 1940 at Auburn in Hawthorn, City of Boroondara County.
