Jerry Dean Byers Sr. 1937 - 1996

Jerry D Byers of Grant, Newaygo County, MI was born on September 24, 1937 to Larry Byers and Mildred V. Byers - Washburn. He was in a relationship with Constance Marie (Freye) Byers and they later separated in 1968. He had children Jerry Dean Byers Jr. and Loretta Lynn Byers. Jerry Byers died at age 58 years old on March 14, 1996, and was buried at Hillside Cemetary.

I knew Jerry Sr quite well.. he would often have coffee at the hi-delite in Grant and occasionally i would join him.. Jerry would collect items and store them in his black Chevrolet Blazer. His family had a farm on Spruce out by the muck fields.His mother stayed in Grant on Front street by the laundry mat

Jerry Dean Byers Sr. was a caring man.
My name is Loretta Byers-Sipes. Jerry Sr. is my father. He also has a son Jerry Dean Byers Jr. whom we've been searching for for many years now. Jerry went to his grave not knowing what happened to him. He was a God fearing good man. He had some health problems, but worked as a television and appliance repair man for many years. He always stayed fairly close to the Grant, Michigan area.
