Jesse James Middleton Sr of Pekin, Washington County, Indiana was born on September 9, 1945 to Ethel Middleton and Walter Middleton. He had siblings Tom Middleton and Alonzo Middleton. He was in a relationship with Sharon E. (Grubbs) Boyett beginning 1970 and they later separated in 1977. He had children Jesse James Middleton Jr, Mark Anthony Middleton, and Angela Christine (Middleton) Mayes.
