I never met her so I cannot give highlights of her personality. She was first married to my great uncle Clarence A. Martinson, who was born 30 Sept 1898 Kansas City, Wyandotte Co., Kansas. Son of Christian Mortensen-later changed to Martinson and Mary Nelson both born in Denmark. Mary immigrated with her family when she was a small child. Christian in 1884 with his older brother Morten Carl. Clarence and Jessie resided with Christian until he had a stroke the first part of 1945 and was removed to Nora Rae Restorium in K.C. Mo. where he died 3 months later Apr, 1945. At the time of Christian's death, Clarence and Jessie listed they were residing in Chetopa Co., Kansas. Clarence died age 50, on the 19 Oct, 1948 in Volusia Co., FL. We have no clue as to how he came to pass away there. Had they moved there or were they visiting is unanswered. Jessie later married a Henry Eaton Boyns 1894-1981. Jessie is buried next to Clarence in Memorial Park Cem. Wyandotte Co, Kansas.
