Jessie Louisa (Macfarlane) Pepper-Staveley of - Woldhurstlea, in Ifield, Sussex County England was born in 1837 in Darlington, Durham County to Donald Macfarlane and Mary Ann (Rooke) Macfarlane. She had siblings Walter Macfarlane, Mary Ann (Macfarlane) Plews, Donald Macfarlane, Richard Macfarlane, and Norval Macfarlane. She married George Augustus Pepper-Staveley, and had children Jessie Georgina Annie (Pepper-Staveley) Aitchison, Zoe Winnifred Augusta Townsend (Pepper-Staveley) Bell, Emma Florence Hilda (Pepper-Staveley) Boxill, John Donald Pepper-Staveley, and Amy Bertha Ernestine (Pepper-Staveley) Sparrow. Jessie Pepper-Staveley died at age 87 years old on April 18, 1925 in Ifield, Sussex County, and was buried at - St Margaret of Antioch Churchyard, in Ifield.
