Jimmy Dale Kimbrell is the son of Forrest Cleveland Kimbrell (1921-1977) and Katy Lorene Williams (1929-1995). He was born on July 30, 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas and had a sister named Sharon Jeanette Kimbrell (1951-2014). He attended Coleman Schools before joining the Marines Corp. He served in the United States military from October 24, 1967 until October 12, 1973. After returning from the service, he moved to San Angelo, Texas and married Patricia Binson on September 10, 1970. They had children together including a son named Jimmy Dwayne Kimbrell (1974-1999) and a daughter named Shanda.

Jimmy Dale Kimbrell passed away peacefully at his residence September 27, 2017 in Wylie,Texas. Jimmy was born July 30,1949 in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended Coleman Schools before joining the Marines Corp from October 24, 1967 until October 12, 1973. Upon returning from the service, he moved to San Angelo. He married Patricia Binson on September 10, 1970. Survivors are his wife Patricia Kimbrell of Wylie, Texas; Daughter Shanda (Michael) Webb of Wylie, Texas; Grandson Josh Webb of Allen, Texas; Granddaughters Jordan Kimbrell of Boone, NC, Kacey Kimbrell of Hemstead, NC; Two Sisters Karen (Joe) Robinson of Coleman, Texas, Robbie (Jerry) Nichols of Brownwood, Texas; Several nephews, nieces and cousins, and one Aunt, Sue Williams of Coleman, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Katie (Williams) Kimbrell, his son Jimmy Dwayne Kimbrell and one sister Sharon Keeney.
