Joe Dasovich was born on June 15, 1917 in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri, USA to parents Mike Dasovich (1888-1933) and Jeka DaĊĦovic (1889-1963). He had siblings Nick (1913-1961), John (1915-1982), Andrew (1920-1990), Charlie (1923-1992), Carl (1930-2001), and Frank Dasovich (born 1932). They lived in Pike, Kentucky. Joe enlisted into the US Army on March 12, 1936 and was discharged on September 5, 1945. He then enlisted again on February 25, 1946 and was discharged the second time on September 30, 1959. On January 2, 1942 he married Alice Norma Hite in Hillsboro, Jefferson, Missouri, USA. He was also married to America Florence Lorrai Eutsler (born 1918). Together they had a son, Michael J Dasovich (1939-1985).

Joe Dasovich was born in Kansas City, Missouri and grew up in Pike, Kentucky. He lived in Anne Arundel, Maryland in the 1940's (with the Army?) and then was in Chicago, Illinois with the Army as well. In 1977, he passed away in San Francisco, California.

Joe Dasovich enlisted on March 12, 1936 and was discharged on September 5, 1945. He then enlisted again on February 25, 1946 in Chicago Illinois (Military serial#: 06889753) for the Hawaiian Department. He was discharged the second time on September 30, 1959.
