    Johan Jaques Preghter was my father. He worked for the Suralco (Suriname Aluminum Company) for 32 years before he retired. He was a hardworking man, a great husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family and liked spending quality time with them. His passion was fishing and being outdoors in nature, so he was often found on the river with his motorboat.
