John Baird had a relationship with my Grt Grandmother Elizabeth Kavanagh, they never married ,this relationship produced 1 child Olive Marie Kavanagh(my Grandmother) B: 6/4/1900 in Woollahra NSW , D:14/6/64 in Callan Park Hospital Rozelle NSW. Elizabeth and John lived in the Bombala area in NSW , which is where they probably met , John went on to marry Susan Jane Griffith in 1899 in Bombala NSW. John & Susan had their first baby in 1900 , John Cameron Baird, they had another 2 sons after that. John Baird died in Sydney hospital in 1931 cause of death was Acute Nephritis .

Unfortunately I don't have any memories of my Grt Grandfather John Baird , it took me many years of research to discover that John was my Grandmother's biological father, my Grt Grandmother did her best to keep it a secret, probably because she was a strict catholic and had a child out of wedlock . My mother grew up not knowing her Grandfather John Baird in fact there was no mention of him.
