    UNIONTOWN, PA. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 30, 1972-PAGE 3 Mr. Berzac Passes Away Funeral services for John Berzac, 53 of 20536 Cedar St. Saint Clair Shores, MI., formerly of Pittsburgh St. in Uniontown, PA. were held Friday, Dec. 22 at 1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Slovak Lutheran Church in Detroit. Mr. Berzac was founder and President of Astro Manufacturing Co. of Roseville where he designed and manufactured the rocket and Kennedy banks. He served with the Army as staff sergeant in the 45th Infantry Division in World War II, in the Pacific area. He received a Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with one Bronze Star and World War II Victory Ribbon. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Forgash Berzac; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Bonnie) Kopko of Warren and Winnifred, at home; one son, Cary of Flint; three grandchildren; two brothers, Andrew and Charles; six sisters, Mrs. Andrew (Mary) Mehall, Mrs. Steve (Mildred) Mehall, Mrs. Andrew (Sue) McCulla, Mrs, John (Ann) Jovick and Mrs. Nick (Sophia) Batchik, all in Michigan, Mrs Clifford (Helen) Gorsuch of Washington DC. The burial service was held at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Mich.
