He and Jaid Barrymore married on March 6, 1971 and they later divorced on February 9, 1984. They had a child Drew Barrymore. He and Nina Wayne married in 1985 and they later divorced in 1994. They had a child Jessica Blyth Barrymore. John Barrymore died at age 72 years old on November 29, 2004 in Monterey.
