John Duffett Lord of Prahran, City of Stonnington County, VIC Australia was born on October 26, 1858 in Clifton, Bristol City County, England United Kingdom to John Lord and Sarah Ann Baulch. He had siblings Eliza Annie 'Lily' Lord, Alice Mabel (Lord) Rosier, George Gordon Lord, Albert Clifton Lord, William Henry Lord, and Ellen Marion 'Nellie' Lord. He married Rose Wavely (Clarke) Lord in 1881, and had children Ethel Rosa Lord, Albert Arthur Lord, and Lillian May Bottomley. John Lord died at age 61 years old on March 3, 1920 in Prahran, City of Stonnington County, VIC Australia.
