J.E. Moshenek Taken By Death John E. Moshenek of Danville Rt. 3. Starling Ave. in the Glenwood community, was pronounced dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital today at 4:20 a.m. Although he had been in poor health for several years, his death was unexpected. Mr. Moshenek, 77, was born in Pittsylvania County at Ringgold on Aug. 4, 1894, a son of the late John and Araminta Pocahontas Dillard Moshenek. He was a retired farmer, a member of Ringgold Baptist Church and Kent Lodge No. 305. On Nov. 29, 1969, he married the former Katie Richardson who survives. In addition to his wife, he leaves three nephews, E. Carlton Moshenek, G. Wesley Moshenek and Billy Moshenek, all of Ringgold. E. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Swicegood Chapel by the Rev. John Groff and the Rev. Clarence Jackson. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends tomorrow night from 7 to 9 o'clock. At other times the family will be at the residence on Starling Ave.
