I met John in the fall of 1989 We were neighbors in an apartment complex in Tampa Florida. We remained friends until his death. I was probably one of Johns longest living friends. We had many adventures. Johns passion was cars and all that they entailed. He loved the engineering and the design and respected them all for their beauty and performance. John never married no had children but the last few years of his life were spent with his girlfriend Janet White. Janet preceded John in death by 6 months. She died of breast cancer. They used to go to chemotherapy together and took comfort in each other during this difficult time. Johns ashes were spread in one of his favorite locations, St Martin in the french west indies.
