John George Brightwell 1868 - 1949

John George Brightwell of Waimate, Otago New Zealand was born on October 10, 1868 in Ballarat, VIC Australia. He was married to Elizabeth Ada Sumner Brightwell, and had children William James Brightwell, Gilbert Sydney Brightwell, Richard Edmund Jerrard Brightwell, Robert Felix Brightwell, Edward Albert Brightwell, John George Bertram Brightwell, David Arthur Brightwell, Charles Sampson Brightwell, Allen Leslie Brightwell, Kenneth Sumner Brightwell, and Lucretia Emma Brightwell. John Brightwell died at age 80 years old on May 22, 1949 in Waimate, Waimate District County, Canterbury New Zealand, and was buried in May 1949 at Oamaru Cemetery in Oamaru, Waitaki District County, Otago.
