    J. G. Goldsborough Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 15th at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church for John G. Goldsborough, 68, who died on Saturday, March 12th in McCready Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Crisfield, he was the son of the late Robert H. and Ella Kelley Goldsborough of Crisfield. He was an honorary member of the Crisfield Volunteer Fire Company and for 44 years was the owner and operator of the Goldsborough Grocery Store on Main Street here. Surviving are his wife, Mary M. Goldsborough; one son, Sgt. Major John E. Goldsborough, Ford Ord. Calif; two daughters, Mrs. Myrna Humphreys and Mrs. Debbie Tyler, both of Crisfield; one brother, Robert H. Goldsborough, Crisfield; one sister, Mrs. Lenora Bradshaw of Crisfield and nine grandchildren. The Rev. Cecil Smart and the Rev. Dallas Butler officiated. Interment was in the Crisfield Cemetery. In memory of the deceased donations may be made to the McCready Memorial Hospital building fund. Arrangements were handled by the Bradshaw and Sons Funeral Home. -The Crisfield Times, March 18, 1977 pg.9
