He married Priscilla (Collins) Hugg on October 27, 1710 in Bridgewater, Somerset County, and they were married until Priscilla's death on March 25, 1714. He had a child Jacob Hugg. John Hugg died at age 66 years old on February 13, 1730 in Franklin Township.
