John J. Noreck Obituary
ALBION, Dec. 31 - John J. Noreck, 39, a native and lifelong resident of Albion and for a number of years an employe of the New York State Electric & Gas Corp., died in Arnold Gregory Memorial Hospital to. day (Dec. 31, 1959), after short illness.
He lived at 332 E. Park St., and was a trustee of St. Mary's Church, a member of the church and its Holy Name Society and of the St. Mary's Athletic Club, and the Young America Hook & badder Co. of the Albion Fire Dept.
He was a veteran of World War II and served with the United States Army as a radio operator in England and Europe.
He leaves his wife, Lorraine: two daughters. Kathleen and Lynne; his mother, Mrs. Fanny Noreck; three brothers, Stanley Walter and Norbert, all of Albion; three sisters, Mrs. Doro. thy Sullmon of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Howard Crossman of Medina and Mrs. Adolph Morton of Albion, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 25 and 79 p.m. at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home at 12 Ingersoll St., Albion. A requiem high Mass will be cele. brated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Church, with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery here.
