John Jacob Astor IV 1864 - 1912

John Jacob Astor IV was born on July 13, 1864 in Rhinebeck, Dutchess County, New York United States to Caroline Astor and William Backhouse Astor Jr, and had siblings Carrie Astor Wilson, Emily Astor Van Alen, Helen (Astor) Roosevelt, and Charlotte Astor Drayton. He married Ava Lowle Willing on February 17, 1891 and they later divorced on November 19, 1910. They had children William Vincent Astor and Ava Alice Muriel (Astor) Obolensky. He also married Madeleine Astor in 1911, and they were married until John's death on April 15, 1912. They had a child John Jacob Astor Astor VI.
