John James Gurrie 1874 - 1933

John James Gurrie of Colac, Colac Otway Shire County, VIC Australia was born on February 28, 1874 in Mount Moriac, Surf Coast Shire County to Edward Gurrie and Ann Connelly Gurrie. He had siblings Anne Gorry, Richard Gorry, Patrick Thomas Gurrie, and Michael John Gurrie. He married Emily Jane (Lloyd) Gurrie in 1898, and had children Ida Jane Gurrie, Eric John Michael Gurrie, Roy Edward Gurrie, Myrtle Ann Gurrie, Clarence Frederick Gurrie, Dorothy Emily Gurrie, Gladys Eileen Gurrie, and Alma Kathleen Gurrie. John Gurrie died at age 59 years old on March 14, 1933 in Colac, Colac Otway Shire County.
