I was raised but John and his wife Nellie Carpenter . John was a accomplished musican if you could get a tune out it he could do it he was truley musical! Gifted he was very good painter as well as a carpenter he was a truley gifted individual he sharpened saws hand and circle saw blades he he had custermers fron all over seeking his skill. He loved kids and animals he and his wife would grow a gardon at their home at 206 welt St. at Weston Mo. He and his wife help raise my mom her brother and sister they bought them cloths when they had little to wait they were both good people and I will always consider it a privilege to have known them one more thing John was a most sought at fiddle player at square dances when he was young he
And Nellie Ellen record and John carpenter were married in 1914 she was 19 he was 35 they were married unti!ll his death in1966 his wife died in 1972 from cancer. They had no children of their on to who may read this post hope this im formation will help
