John Joshua Moore Hard of Richmond, City of Yarra County, VIC Australia was born in 1859 in Carlton, City of Melbourne County. He married Emily Howchin Hard in 1881. They had children Lucy Ann Marion (Hard) Pace, Edward John Hard, Ethel Elizabeth Moore Hard, Daisy May (Hard) Scriven, William Henry Hard, Albert George Hard, and Ellen Hard. He also married Charlotte Lavinia Keith in 1912. John Hard died at age 67 years old in 1926 in Richmond, City of Yarra County.
