Nikolai Kartashevich Family, New York 1927

Nikolai Kartashevich Family in New York, New York in July of 1927. This picture was recieved from the USA in 1939. Found in my grandfathers album, this is my grandmother's uncle and his family. In this picture my grandmother's uncle Nikolai Kartashevich, his wife and children John, Walter, Dorothea, John. This history is mysterious. The second world war has splintered the whole Belorussian area into pieces. Nikolai Kartashevich was living in district Litva and moved from there 1905 when first russian revolution has started. He went through Germany Hamburg approximately on boat named Bismark. He was a rich man and had a silk factory.
