    John P Cingerana was a loved and cared for person. He had thyroid cancer since he was 5 years old and was in the hospital for 3 years. He was able to go home when he was 8 years old. He was the sweetest guy you could ever meet. He is survived by his son Fred Cingerana, his daughter Marilyn Gray, his daughter-in-law Maria Cingerana,Patricia Cingrana hisfirst grandson Richard Patrick Gray Jr. (Marilyns' son), his second grandson John Fredrick Gray (Marilyns' son), his twin grandsons Johnny and Freddy Cingerana (Fred and Marias' kids), and his only great-grandchild Anisa (Patricias' daughter)

In 1931, in the year that John P Cingerana was born, on May 1st, the Empire State Building opened in New York City. At 1,454 feet (including the roof and antenna), it was the tallest building in the world until the World Trade Center's North Tower was built in 1970. (It is now the 34th tallest.) Opening at the beginning of the Great Depression, most of the offices in the Empire State Building remained unoccupied for years and the observation deck was an equal source of revenue and kept the building profitable.
