I remember. when we were first married, we were at a gas station, and a large 18 wheeler gas truck was transferring gas from the truck into the storage space in the ground. We couldn't get out of the station, due to being blocked by the truck. We had a Midget MG sports car, John just put the care in gear and we went under the truck to get out of the gas station. I was petrified That was slick. He was always doing crazy things like that, with safety in mind first.

We had some great times in the little Midget MG Sports car. I was not allowed to drive it of course, it was his toy!!.

Those were the good old days.

Sorry he left this earth without telling me good by!

Rest in peace John Darling!.

I am Joyce A. Jean, John R Alford's first wife. Married August 20, 1960. John was a wonderful person, and from a wonderful family, from Compton, California. Lost touch after the years. So sorry for his loss.
