John Richard Mortimore of Toolangi, VIC Australia was born on August 30, 1911 in Warburton, Yarra Ranges Shire County to Ada Christina (Hansen) Mortimore and Martin Mortimore. He had siblings Alice Ada Mortimore, Sarah Elizabeth Mortimore, Margaret Helena Mortimore, Samuel Henry Mortimore, Elsie Louisa Mortimore, Amy Myrtle Mortimore, Harold Ernest Mortimore, Phyllis Joyce Mortimore, and Priscilla May Mortimore. John Mortimore married Jean Drummond in 1935, and died at age 80 years old on July 22, 1992 in Toolangi.
