John Ross 1832 - 1888

John Ross of Doveton Street, in Castlemaine, VIC Australia was born in 1832 in Dundonnell, Ross Shire County Scotland to John Ross and Annie (Campbell) Ross. He had siblings Annie Ross, John Alexander Ross, Ethel Margaret Ellen Ross, Hugh McKenzie Ross, and Catherine Christina (Ross) Smith. John Ross died at age 55 years old on December 24, 1888 in Castlemaine, Mount Alexander Shire County, and was buried on November 26, 1888 at Castlemaine Cemetery in Campbells Creek.
