John Ross 1832 - 1888

John Ross of Doveton street, in Castlemaine, VIC Australia was born in 1832 in Kincardine Scotland to Donald Ross and Catherine (Munro) Ross. He married Annie (Campbell) Ross, and had children John Ross, Catherine Christina (Ross) Smith, John Alexander Ross, Ethel Margaret Ellen Ross, Hugh McKenzie Ross, and Annie Ross. John Ross died at age 55 years old on December 24, 1888 in Castlemaine, Mount Alexander Shire County, and was buried on December 26, 1888 at Castlemaine General Cemetery in Campbells Creek.
