John Sanson 1859 - 1944

John Sanson of Colac, Colac Otway Shire County, VIC Australia was born on January 24, 1859 in Kilmore, Mitchell Shire County to David Sanson and Margaret Ann Sanson. He had siblings William Sanson, David Sanson, George Sanson, and Thomas Sanson. He married Ellen Beata (Stratton) Sanson on May 29, 1873 in Colac Otway Shire County, Victoria, and had children Margaret Ann (Sanson) McLeod, Alfred John Sanson, Ellen Beata (Sanson) Hadley, Beatrice Emily (Sanson) Monkivitch, May (Sanson) Kemp, George William Gordon Sanson, Laura (Sanson) Edgar, Alexander Sanson, Ethel (Sanson) Millman, and Ila (Sanson) Deuchar Harton. John Sanson died at age 85 years old on July 30, 1944 in Colac, VIC, and was buried at Colac Cemetery/71 Gravesend St in Colac.
