  • Introduction

I was one of his nieces. I still remember hearing about him being killed in an industrial accident. Something to do with a shipyard where he worked and he was doing something in the water and got crushed by a boat or ship. I was only 5 at the time but it is clear as day when my Grandmother came up to tell my Mother about this. All his nieces loved him. He was very kind and gentle with all of us and with his own two daughters, Carol and Susan.
