John Decquir was my dad's brother and my dad died in 1984. I felt a hurt that no one understood except for Uncle John. He told me the day of my Dad funneral that he would be there for me because he knew how hard it was for me. And when we moved back to LA, l would go visit him and he made me feel loved.
