John Spon is my 2nd great-grandfather. He arrived in the United States in 1905 and moved to Mahoning, Ohio. He married Maria Schneider in 1909 and they had: John B Spon, Martin Spon, Mary Spon, Stephen Spon (my great grandfather), Martin Spon, Mary Spon, Catherine Spon and Elise J. Spon.
