His mother Fanny was born on January 28, 1884 in St Saviour, Southwark, Surrey, England and grew up in Streatham, London, England. She later resided in Purley, Surrey, England and worked as a Nursery Maid. She passed away in Paddington Kilburn, London, England in April of 1958.
