Jose Antonio Aymat is the son of Federico Aymat Justiniano (1884-1966) and Paula Fabbiani Pagan (1880-). He was born in Puerto Rico on May 30, 1918 and had siblings Elena Aymat Fabbiani (1894-1980), Elisa Aymat Fabbiani (1902-1980), Maria Cristina Aymat (1904-1991), Maria Aymat Y Fabiani (1904-1991), Enrique Aymat Fabiani (1908-1982), Armando Aymat Fabiani (1916-1967), and Miguel Armando Aymat (1916-1967). He lived in Boqueron, Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico and Bajura, Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. Jose registered for the draft on November 20, 1940, in Miradero, Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. At the time, he was 21 years old and employed by Ninguno. He then enlisted in the military on August 1, 1945, with the Army. He held the rank of Private, Selectees (enlisted Men). Jose Aymat served in the military for a brief period, as he was discharged on November 17, 1945, after just over three months of service. Jose was married to Carmen Camacho (1924-) and the couple had two children together.
