Announcement was made here today of the marriage of Miss Geraldyn McGuire, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Jerome McGuire of Oxford, Conn., and New York City, to Lieut. James A. Knapick, Jr., U. S. Army, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Knapick of 209 North Jackson Avenue, Endicott.
The ceremony was performed Dec. 6 in New York City. Lieutenant and. Mrs. Knapick have spent a few days visiting his parents here. They will make their home in New York City, where she is affiliated with the executive branch of a Manhattan insurance firm and he is stationed in the Brooklyn Army Base.
Mrs. Knapick is a graduate of Simmons College in Boston. The lieutenant has returned after serving nearly two years in the Aleutians. He is now serving with the U. S. Army Transport Corps.
