  • Obituary

Joseph Antioco, From 1956-1962, he served in the U.S Army. My father was a wonderful, caring, loving, friendly, kind hearted, giving, great friend, husband and father and grandfather. His main concern was his family. If anyone ever needed him for anything, he would never turn them down. My father's favorite holiday was Christmas. I was a single mother when my son was born. My father helped me when I went back to work. He watched my son everyday, took him to school, gave him lunch and snacks and then to the park until I came home from work. Being my son hasn't seen his father in 17 years, My father was my son's role model as a father and as a man. I do not know what I am going to do without him here, present anymore. He was one hell of a father. I am not perfect, but, he would suggest on my problems or situations, but he never told me what to do.My father was my best friend. We did everything together. He would call me up and we would just go for coffee, to lunch. hang out on the beach for hours. My favorite time was when we would go Christmas shopping. We spent so much time at Tolins Christmas store that everyone there knew who we were. I loved when he came to my home. We had such good times and alot of laughs. Even though he has passed and it kills me. I am so glad that I have all of these wonderful memories of him and of my childhood. I miss and Love you so much Dad. Love DawnMarie
