Joseph Becton 1812 - 1896

Joseph Becton of Millen, Georgia United States was born in 1812 to Macajah Becton and Anna Jane Becton. Joseph Becton had siblings Lewis Becton, Berry A Becton, and Darien A Becton. He married Sabra (Boyett) on May 12, 1833, and they were married until Sabra's death in 1940. They had children David Becton and Andrew Jackson Becton. He would also marry Eliza Jane (English) Becton in 1840, and they were married until Eliza's death in 1870. They had children Joseph M Becton, Judge Warren Becton, Mary Jane Becton, James Becton, John N Becton, Emily (Becton) Coody, Derry Becton, Lewis Becton, and Laura (Becton). He and Matilda (Washington) married in 1873, and they were married until Matilda's death in 1876. He married Eliza Becton, and they were married until Joseph's death in 1896. They had a child Jodie Becton.
