My Father was amazing. Although he had a pretty awful childhood, he overcame it. He was genrous, warm and accepting. One of his claimes to fame was hitting a home run off Satchel Paige. Joseph was a minor league baseball player. One day his team (I think it was the Cosmos) played against what was then called a Negro League team at Ritter field, in Rochester, NY. He hit the home run off Satchel Paige that day.
