Joseph Clovis Charleville was born on February 13, 1854 in Missouri United States to Charles Charleville and Marie Elizabeth (Lalumondiere) Charleville, and had siblings Frank Jean Charleville, David Charleville, Jules Joseph Charleville, Fred Charleville, Sarah Anna Charleville, Sylvania (Charleville) Rutledge, and Mary Louisa Sophia (Charleville) Laurent. He married Alphonsine "Alpha" (Billy) Charleville, and had children Mary Delfean "Della" (Charleville) Allgire and Bessie Charleville. Joseph Charleville died at age 93 years old on May 11, 1947 in Festus, Jefferson County.
