Introduction

My grandpa Joe was pretty awesome in my book! He gave me anything I wanted! If I wanted to go to Dairy Queen to get ice cream, he'd give me $5! If I wanted to go up to United Soopers to get a can of SpaghettiOs, he'd give me $5! Christina caught on to that two three times a day I'd be asking for $5! He owned his own family business called silvey Plumbing. When he retired My Father David Michael silvey took that over around 2010 is when my father went into assisted living and we no longer had that business. My Father David Michael silvey died in November of 2011. My grandpa Joe's wife Mildred silvey is still living as of April 11th 2018. She is 96 years old. My grandpa loved to Garden. He loved to sit and watch Hee Haw will my grandma and I snapped green beans. I do believe before he was the owner of his own Plumbing business he was an architect. As was his father. I loved him with all my heart. There is still a head imprint in my Grandma's kitchen wall, where my grandfather had fallen trying to get out of his seat at the kitchen table. Perfect silvey head indention in the plaster. LOL God bless his soul, I pray he watches over me everyday and every night!
