Joseph Gilbert Marshall 1864 - 1943

Joseph Gilbert Marshall of Sonoma County, CA was born on May 17, 1864 in Lattery, Markethill, County Armagh CountyNorthern Ireland Ireland to William Marshall and Margaret ( Shields) Marshall. He had siblings Mary Marshall, Maggie Marshall, Rachael Ann Marshall, Margaret Marshall, Robert Marshall, Thomas James Marshall, Rachael Marshall, David William Marshall, Eliza Jane (Marshall) Edgar, Hugh Ancrum Marshall, and Sarah Elizabeth Marshall. Joseph was baptized on May 17, 1863 at Markethill, 2nd Presbyterian Church in Markethill. He married Susan (Mitchell) Marshall on September 11, 1895 in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, and they were married until Joseph's death on September 23, 1943. He had children William Marshall, James Alexander Marshall, and Susan Mae (Mashall) Thornton. Joseph Marshall was buried in September 1943 at Santa Rosa Odd Fellows Cemetery in Santa Rosa.
