Furtney Sr., Minnie Furtney, Harry Furtney, Charlotte Furtney Williamson, Ada Furtney, and Vera Furtney. He married Ida Nelson, and had children Donald Furtney, Florence Furtney, and Herbert Furtney. Joseph Furtney died at age 43 years old on May 3, 1919 in Austin.
