  • Obituary

    The Narracan Shire Advocate. Vic. 26th July 1929. WALHALLA. His many friends in Walhalla and district will regret to learn of the death, on Tuesday morning, of Mr. James Joseph Murray. For many years, deceased followed the occupation of a miner, but failing health compelled him to retire from active work some years ago. Always of a cheerful disposition, Mr. Murray bore his recent illness with great fortitude. Deceased was aged 61 years, and in addition to a sorrowing wife, leaves a family of Six daughters and two sons, for whom many expressions of sympathy have been received. The remains were interred in the Roman Catholic portion of the local cemetery.
