    Joseph J. Zabek, 91, of Attleboro, MA died Wednesday, March 14th. He was the husband of the late Doris L. (Prosser) Zabek. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Piter and Agnieszka (Staba) Zombek. He was employed as a shipper in the Meat Dept. of Tarpey's Wholesale Meats for many years prior to his retirement. Mr. Zabek was an Army veteran of World War II. He served in Germany and France. His daughter Linda A. Elliott and her husband Paul of Attleboro, sister Jenny Walicky of New Jersey, granddaughter Cristy Cochrane and her husband Ryan, great granddaughters Kaylin Goodhue, Kamryn Cochrane and Kenzie Cochrane survive him. He was the brother of the late Matthew Zabek and Wanda Genereaux. His funeral service, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at Candleberry Chapel, 381 South Main St. (Route 152), Attleboro. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
