Joseph Shead 1843 - 1929

Joseph Shead was born in 1843 in Harlow, Essex County, England United Kingdom to Thomas Shead and Elizabeth Mitchelson (Barltrop) Shead, and had siblings Walter Shead, Percival Shead, Arthur Barltrop Shead, Helen Shead, Jesse Shead, and Elizabeth Shead. He married Sarah Ann (Henderson) Stick Shead. He would also marry Annie (Barry) Baker-Shead, and they had children Thomas Edward Shead, Annie Shead, and Joseph William Shead. Joseph Shead died at age 85 years old on August 16, 1929 in Box Hill, VIC Australia, and was buried on August 17, 1929 at Brighton Cemetery in Caulfield South, Glen Eira City County.
