Joseph William Schrecengost was born circa September 9, 1929 in Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania United States to William Merch Schrecengost and Blanche Louella Rau, and had siblings Martha Pauline (Schrecengost) Walthour, Marie Catherine (Schrecengost) Campbell, and Frederick Gabriel Schrecengost. He married Glenda La Rue (Wiser) Schrecengost on August 16, 1957, and had children Jollene (Schrecengost) Depner, Melissa (Schrecengost) Wynkoop, and Coleen (Schrecengost) Steim. Joseph Schrecengost died at age 89 years old on May 30, 2019 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning, and was buried in June 2019 at Lawn Haven Burial Estates 1290 Butler Road, in Worthington.
